WHO ARE WE?

We are Kappa Phi Beta Christian Sisterhood (just call us Kappa Phi!) at Texas A&M University. We are made up of girls from Texas A&M and Blinn College.

WHAT DO WE DO?

First and foremost, we strive to glorify God in everything we do. We have worship nights, study dates, sisterhood events, big/little, mixers, socials, game nights, service projects, weekly bible studies and much more. Essentially, we are a group of Aggie girls who love Jesus and love each other.

MISSION STATEMENT

Kappa Phi is a lifelong supportive Christian sisterhood expressed through fellowship, devotion to schoolwork, volunteer & service work, and praise. We are Aggie women dedicated to Christ, our sisters, and our community.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Kappa Phi Beta Christian Sisterhood is a Christ-centered organization for college women.  It provides an opportunity for, and challenges them:

  • to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ;

  • to be a loving community and provide fellowship to fellow sisters;

  • to be personally involved, active participants in our Church, school, and community.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

God:

We believe there is only one God who is eternal, unchangeable, and without any flaws. He exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible:

The Bible is the written word of God. It is free of any error and is the supreme authority of faith and practice for those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ:

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only son of God. We believe in his virgin birth, the miracles he performed while on earth, that he died on the cross for our sins, and that he rose again three days later before ascending into heaven.

Holy Spirit:

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the giver of new life and enables believers to live a life that is pleasing to God.

Man:

We believe that man was made in God’s image, but because of sin, man is separated from God. By God’s grace and through faith in Jesus Christ, man can be one with God again.

Sin:

We believe that God sent His Son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. Jesus Christ took the punishment, shame, and guilt we deserved, and put it on Himself. This paid for our sins in full and satisfied the wrath and righteousness of God.
