Letter from the President
Howdy!
My name is Sierra Sawyer, and I am the President of Kappa Phi Beta Christian Sisterhood for the 2024-2025 school year! I joined Kappa Phi the first semester of my Freshman year and since then my relationship with the Lord has grown exponentially. Most of my favorite college memories and friendships are a result of my involvement in Kappa Phi. Weekly Bible studies, worship nights, and Retreat are just a few of my favorite parts of this organization. The girls in this sisterhood have shown me love, grace, and kindness that has helped shape me into the leader I am today. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to serve as the Pledge Coordinator, Treasurer, and many other officer roles. Now, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this incredible sisterhood as President. I am so glad that you have found us, and I pray that Kappa Phi can be a place of growth for you like it has been for me.
Kappa Phi is built on a foundation of community, service, devotion, and praise. The most important part of Kappa Phi though, is that we are centered on Jesus. That is, and always will be, part of our vision as an organization. My prayer is that the 2024-2025 school year will be a season of growth for each of us individually and as an organization. Our desire is that every girl in Kappa Phi will feel loved, valued, and supported by their sisters as we learn and grow together. Kappa Phi is a place where we can be vulnerable together and help each other learn more about God and grow in our relationships with Him. I hope that every girl in Kappa Phi will know God’s unfailing love for them and desire to deepen their relationship with Him.
To potential pledges, I’m so happy you're here! We hope to see you at our rush events, because we can’t wait to meet you! I can't to wait to see who and what the next year will bring to Kappa Phi. God has an amazing plan for each and every one of you, and we are praying for you as you search for your community at Texas A&M or Blinn.
To my sisters, I am so excited to continue to see God’s plan for Kappa Phi unfold over the next year! Kappa Phi is growing and changing in ways that will further glorify Him and provide a place for each of you to grow your relationship with Him. You are what makes Kappa Phi the amazing sisterhood that it is. I am thankful for all of you, and I can’t wait to spend more time with all of you and make more memories this year!
With love,
Sierra Sawyer
